Most people lose because they want action every day. The more bets, the more excitement. That mindset is exactly why most people lose.
I average 10 to 15 bets per month. When I stopped chasing quantity and committed fully to quality, the results changed completely. Every bet I send has been analyzed for hours before it reaches you — sent 6 to 24 hours before the game starts so you never have to rush.
Almost every bet I send is a single. For a single to make it through, the odds have to be at least 1.60. The maximum I take sits around 2.50. Beyond that the risk stops being worth it on a single outcome. Bookmakers are not stupid and neither is the math.
Sometimes there is genuine value that does not justify a single at those odds. In those cases I combine two bets — never more than two. Early on I tried combining more often. It meant twice the analysis for a result that rarely made sense. Two strong bets combined can work. Three or four is just gambling with extra steps.
Because I am this selective I can stake between 10 and 25% of my bankroll on a single bet. Most services stake 1 to 3% because they have no real confidence in what they are sending, or because they are sending way too many bets. When you send 5 to 6 bets a day there is no way to stay consistent. The stress of sending bets to real people adds up fast. At that volume there is no way to maintain the level of analysis every single bet deserves. And eventually one bad day at those stakes wipes the entire bankroll. I stake higher because I have done my work.
